Network Misuse
All clients are allowed access to the public and private network; however misuse of the network in any way, including interference, will result in a violation of this AUP. All violations of this AUP shall be subject to review by QuadHost Ltd., and an appropriate course of action shall be taken as determined by QuadHost Ltd. in its sole discretion. Proper use of public network must comply with all local, provincial, and federal laws. Clients assume full liability for all content which they place on the server.

Using in excess of 10% of the total CPU and/or RAM of the shared server, for over 15 minutes, is deemed to be network misuse, please ensure the correct limits are set on your script, to ensure you do not break this policy.

Client agrees not to run any processes on their VPS which create a CPU load above 1.00 per core on the VPS for an extended period of time or which cause a high CPU load on the host node for an extended period of time.

In other words, client agrees not to use the equivalent of a full core for the VM for an extended period of time. Disruptive CPU usage may result in a reboot, shutdown, and/or suspension of the VPS regardless of the time lapse involved.

Forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e-mail or newsgroup posting is deemed a violation of this AUP.

Burstable Ram
Burst RAM is different from your Dedicated RAM on virtual servers from QuadHost Ltd.

You are permitted to use the Burstable ram in periods of no longer then 15 minutes such cases include, a burst of traffic, or an update script consuming additional resources, VPS’s found to be in excessive use of Burstable RAM are at risk of being suspended, all clients will receive notifications prior to this happening, to allow enough time to resolve the issue.

Sabotage
Any type of sabotage, regardless of intention, shall be grounds for termination of an account. This includes but is not limited to the use of DOS Scripts to perform attacks on the server, wasting of bandwidth and CPU,etc.

Network Security
Clients are required and obligated to maintain all security on their hosting accounts. Any and all additional charges that are incurred due to client lack of monitoring or security are the responsibility of the client,
Under no circumstances will QuadHost Ltd. be held responsible for lack of Security on the clients behalf.

Content Monitoring
QuadHost Ltd. does not monitor the content on its servers. Content will only be reviewed upon complaint. Content that does not violate local, provinical or federal law or this AUP or the Terms of Service is deemed in compliance and shall remain intact. If content is deemed to be in violation of this AUP or the Terms of Service, it shall be reviewed by QuadHost Ltd., and a course of action shall be taken to correct the problem, which may result in termination of the account or service.

File Hosting
The use of file hosting scripts, where any visitor can upload, and share files is not permitted if it meets one of the following limits: 50 files or 25GB Disk Space, if your account reaches these limits you must disable access to the file hosting script, or remove unused files, note that on VPS and Dedicated Services, you are entitled to use the full allocated disk space, for file hosting.

Blacklist Policy
If any client or any third-party user that is a customer of our client uses QuadHost Ltd. services, network, or its physical infrastructure in a manner that causes QuadHost Ltd., or any IP addresses issued by QuadHost Ltd. to be “blacklisted” or “blocked”, QuadHost Ltd. reserves the right to suspend or terminate services of such client and/or suspend or terminate the access to services, network, and/or its physical infrastructure.

Operating a QuadHost Ltd. service on behalf of, or in connection with or reselling any service to persons or firms listed in the Spamhaus Register of Known Spam Operations database at www.spamhaus.org shall constitute a violation of this AUP.

IP Addresses
All IPs addresses issued by QuadHost Ltd. are the sole property of QuadHost Ltd.. Clients retain no ownership rights to any IP addresses issued by QuadHost Ltd.. Clients may not transfer IPs from QuadHost Ltd.

Any client purchasing over 2 IP addresses in addition to their hosting may be required to submit ARIN/RIPE/APNIC justification forms as well as submit to additional terms depending on the number of IP addresses desired.
